What people ask us
What is this, exactly?
A document reader. You photograph a piece of paper — or send a PDF — and it gives you back the text written on it, ready to paste. It reads Portuguese and English.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no password. Open the page, drop the file, take the text — that is the whole thing.
Do you keep my documents?
No. Your file is read on the spot and discarded at the end. It is not stored, not seen by anyone, and not used to train anything. There are no cookies at all — no trackers, no third-party analytics.
Does it read well? Does it make words up?
In a test with an official certificate photographed with a phone — skewed, with shadows — it read 98 out of every 100 words correctly, with every Portuguese accent and cedilla in place. It always depends on the photo; and when something cannot be read, we tell you.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, and that is where it makes the most sense: open the site, tap the upload area and the camera opens. Photograph the paper and the text appears.
How much does it cost?
Reading a document here costs nothing and asks nothing of you. The paid plan is for people who read paper every day and want long PDFs whole, documents arriving by email or from a shared folder, and a person to answer them; company integrations are quoted per project.
